The theme for Hannukah food is fried food. (Donuts and fried hash browns called latkes). The reason being celebrating the miracle of oil for one night lasting 8. When I arrived to Israel for the first time years ago, the donut was simple. A plain donut with a dash of jelly. Then they started becoming fancier. And here we are today. Happy 6th night of Hanukkah!

In the end what they claimed was like a hurricane turned out to be a few thunder showers. And after two short days the sun is shining on a glorious Friday noon.
