Friday morning, before Shabbat comes in. After walking through the old city we came out by King David’s tomb through a side street and passed the Tower of David.

The historic old city Jerusalem, home to three of the most holy sites for the three monotheistic religions of the world Judaism, Christianity and Islam is quite a sight to behold. There is a magic in the air, and a presence like no other in the world.

It’s early Friday morning. As the city is just getting started. The rain has been long in coming. Besides a little drizzling with Sukkoth there’s been almost no rain for eight months. But it has finally arrived.
